When I was small, I was dreaming to become a president. Later on I decided that I would like to be a businessman and I would build a big shop where kids would be able to find everything they needed so as their dreams would come true. My parents were always smiling at me, charmed by my high ambitions in life. While growing, I started to form more definite picture of my future and was almost sure that I want to be a diplomat.
Childhood and adolescence are usually the happiest and most careless periods in our lives, but there always comes the time when a young person starts asking questions “What am I going to do in my life?”, “How can I be successful in my future?” Many young people understand the importance of proper education for their future and think of going to a college after graduating from high school.
One of the most successful novels of the twentieth century – To Kill a Mockingbird – was written by Harper Lee in 1960. The characteristic feature of the novel is its autobiographical nature and plot. The novel is based on the Lee’s observations of her family relationships, her close social circle and the events that she became a fortunate observer of when she was just about ten years old. Additional charm is added to the novel by its style and narrating.
Each of us was given the ability and gift to understand people from cognitive and emotional aspects. Theory of mind is the notion that describes the ability of an individual to sense and analyze the way of thinking of another person. One of the greatest parts of this theory is the capability of one person to see things and realities from another person’s perspective. In real life this complicated definition means that people who know the theory of mind will be able to admit that their opinion is not a universe truth and will be open for the discussion of various views on the specific subject. People who lack the proper knowledge in this field in the same situation will most probably find it extremely difficult to understand why no one else sees that their opinion is correct and will be put off by the time spent for the discussion of obvious (from their perspective) subjects.
